James Shaun Alligood

Highland City - James Shaun Alligood, age 53, passed away December 23, 2023, at his residence in Highland City. He was born on May 11, 1970, in Lakeland, FL. He worked in Sales for many years at AIT. After AIT, he went to work for Publix. Shaun grew up playing all sports and was known to be an incredible athlete. He was an avid Florida Gators fan. He was very spiritual and was a friend to everyone. He was a very loving, nurturing, mentoring person. He was always willing to go out of his way to help anyone. He is survived by his parents, Butch and Rita Alligood, his sister Shelley Alligood Hagan, and 8 nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
