James T. "Tommy" Odom, Jr.

James T. "Tommy" Odom, Jr. age 75, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024. He was born October 13, 1949 in Nauvoo, AL to James & Polly Ann Odom. Tommy was a Supervisor in the Phosphate industry for over 40+ years retiring from Mosaic. He coached little league baseball and football for many years. Tommy loved all types of motorsports, golfing, fishing and the Florida Gators. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Dena Odom and his brother David Odom. Tommy is survived by his wife Pamela Odom, son Jamie Odom & wife Stephanie, daughter Nicole Lewis, step-son Joseph Coomes, sister Becky Phillips & husband Terry, five grandchildren Cadence, Presley & Anniston Odom, Noah Lewis and Tristan Coomes and his dogs Sissy & Coco Odom. Tommy will be dearly missed by all of us, because Tommy never met a stranger. Family will receive friends Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL.
