James L. Morris

James L. Morris, age 82, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Born May 6, 1934 in Dearborn, MI, Mr. Morris was a resident of Bartow since1997, moving from Belleville, MI, He was an electrical contractor for the Wayne Westland School District in Michigan for many years, He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was member of Saint Thomas Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and former board member of the Floral Lakes Home Association. He is survived by his wife: Kathleen A Morris, Bartow; two daughters Cheryl A. Lepeak [Walter], Whittaker, MI; and Cynthia L Morris, Barstow, CA; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.at the Saint Thomas Catholic Church, Bartow. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
