James A. Mcdonald

Bartow Fla. - James A. McDonald, age 76, passed away October 14, 2023, at Winter Haven Hospital. He was born on June 18, 1947, in Hartford, CT. He served in Vietnam and was employed at Connecticut Valley Hospital and a Custodian for Grace Lutheran Church in Middletown. He was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church Lakeland FL & Saint Pius X Catholic Church in Middletown Ct. He enjoyed sports, gardening and watching YouTube. He was preceded in death by his father John McDonald Sr., his mother Adeline (Schultz) McDonald and brother John McDonald Jr. He is survived by a loving family that includes his sister Lynette (McDonald) Bibisi, brother Pete McDonald and sister-in-law Sue, nieces Dawn McDonald, Melinda (Bibisi) Lacson, Elizabeth (Bibisi) Locke & Emily (Bibisi) Morales, nephews John McDonald III and James C McDonald and many great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM followed by a funeral mass at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Lakeland.
