James "Jimmy" L. Davis

Fort Meade- James “Jimmy” L. Davis entered the gates of Heaven on August 1, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 10, 1954 in Lakeland, FL to William Lamar “Bill” and Betty Joyce Davis, Jr. of Fort Meade. Mr. Davis owned and operated Southern Ag Crop Insurance for 20 years before merging in 2020 with Carden Insurance. He attended Vineyard Church of God in Bartow. He was a member of Lake Polk Hunt Club and lifetime member of the NRA. Jimmy is survived by his wife Diane Davis of Fort Meade, Daughter Kelley D Music and husband Josh, brother Paul Davis (Gayle) of Aiken, South Carolina, four grandchildren, Nathan Music (Ashley), Caden Music (Emily), Jantsyn Music, Kaylee Music, three great grand children, Oakleigh, Weston, and Loughan Music. The Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade, 307 East Broadway in Fort Meade FL.
