James "Jimmie" Wells Kilpatrick

James "Jimmie" Wells Kilpatrick, age 69, of Fort Meade, FL, died Thursday, August 16, 2007, at Bartow Regional Medical Center from heart failure. He was born February 1, 1938 in Fort Meade and lived in Fort Meade all his life. Jimmie enjoyed working and spending time at Barnett's station in Fort Meade. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was the son of the late Dozier Kilpatrick and the late Mildred (Miller) Kilpatrick. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Jim Myers; sister-in-law, Brenda Kilpatrick both of Fort Meade; and several nieces & nephews. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, August 19, 2007. Funeral service will be at Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Fort Meade at 2:00 PM Monday, August 20, 2007 , Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL..
