James "Jimmie" A. Adcock, Sr.

James "Jimmie" Adcock, Sr. age 90, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025. He was born July 16, 1935 in Bartow, FL to Burt & Sussie Adcock. Jimmie was the lead Surveyor for Polk County Government for over 40+ years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bartow. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Adcock. Jimmie is survived by his son Drew Adcock (Connie) of Homeland, two grandchildren Jody (Evelyn) and Mike, three great grandchildren Abbi (Tate), Bobby and Cody and two great great grandchildren Sabrina and Ellieannie. Family will receive friends Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, 410 E. Church Street in Bartow, FL.
