James "Jim" N. Creel, Jr.

Lakeland - James "Jim" Creel, Jr., age 81, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Jim was born August 10, 1936 in Pensacola, FL, He graduated from Pensacola High School class of 1955. He served 4 years in the United States Navy. Jim moved to Lakeland in 1965, He was in sales. He was a member of Family Worship Center. He was preceded in death by his daughter; Cynthia Barr and granddaughter; Deborah Lynn. Wife; Claudette Creel of Lakeland, two sons; Daniel Creel & wife April of Sarasota and Jeffery Creel & wife Donna of Pensacola, daughter; Laurie Ramsey & husband David of Pensacola, step daughter; Loretta Ray & husband Gary of Lakeland, sister; Loyda Wardlaw of Camden, SC.  Eleven grandchildren; Jason, Jana, Marissa, Dorothy, Nathaniel, David, Shane, Heather, Jerry Linn, Michael and Kimberly, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 10 to 11 am at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 11:00 am at McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Old Elim Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
