James "Fish" Archer

James ‘Fish’ Archer, 70 of Bartow, Florida passed away on May 9, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 24, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to Ruthann Earles and James W. Archer. He was proud Veteran of United States Air Force. He was a retired truck driver. He was a proud husband, father and Papa. Fish is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Wilma (Cupp), and their five daughters, Nancy LeVance of Winter Haven, Florida, Kelly Pagan (Daniel) of Winter Haven, Florida, Joyce Archer (Jacqueline) of Manchester, New Hampshire, Jackie Archer of Bartow, Florida and Sherri Skinner of Winter Haven, Florida. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, Daniel Pagan, Bailey Pagan, Mackenzie Pagan, Tieannah Pagan, Jessica Dame, Danielle Hurley, Joshua LeVance, Luke LeVance, Justin LeVance, Gavin Hernandez, Olivia Hernandez, Maria Hernandez, Theodore Hernandez, Isaiah Ford, Leo Archer and Shelby Skinner and also 4 great grandchildren, Luna LeVance, Houston Dame, Sawyer Dame and Liam Pagan. He was proceeded in death by his father. The family will receive friends at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home on Friday, May 13th from 5pm to 7pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 6pm.
