Bartow -James L. Edwards , age 63, passed away July 14, 2024, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. He was born on September 16, 1960, in Bartow, FL. He worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Mosaic. He was a member of Word of Life Christian Center. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, church and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Katherine Edwards of Bartow, daughter Jana Canfield ( David) of Bartow, sisters Sue Smallwood of Winter Haven, Linda Jarrard of Bartow, Judy Howard of Bartow & Freda Smith (Tim) of Lakeland, brother Roy Edwards of Bartow, grandchildren Nick Canfield of Fort Myers, Alyssa Brennan (Chris) of Fort Meade & Brooke Personette (William) of Bartow and great grandchildren Aria and Oliver. Family will receive friends Friday, July 19, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
