James F. Cochran

James F. Cochran, age 78, passed away Monday June 6, 2016 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Born November 16, 1937 in Parrish, FL, Mr. Cochran was a lifelong resident of Bartow. He was a Diesel Mechanic in the phosphate industry for many years. He was a member of the Wildwood Baptist Church of Bartow. He enjoyed fishing, baseball and football. He was survived by his wife of 52 years: Joan B Cochran, Bartow; two sons: James "Griff" Griffin, (Air) Bartow and Michael W Cochran (Kristen), Seattle, WA; a daughter: Deborah Davis (Maurice), Lakeland 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday, June 20, 2016, 10 - 11 A.M. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
