James H. Brannen

Mr. James H. "Jim" Brannen, age 72, of Lakeland, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, at his residence in Lakeland, from respiratory failure. Jim was formerly of Cleghorn's in Lakeland, Earl's Men's Wear, Terri's Lady's Wear, and Hooker's Deptartment Store of Plant City. He was also a member of First Untied Methodist Church, Franklin, NC. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, John and Hazel Brannen, his brother Donald Brannen, and is survived by his wife Barbara Brannen; His daughters, Diane Moats and Susan Holt both of Lakeland, Sandra Horne (Lynn) of Bartow, His son, Kenneth Brannen (Cheryl) of Lakeland. He is also survived by his brothers, Bill Brannen of Franklin, N.C., Jerre Brannen of Gainesville, Fla., and 10 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Mon., Jan. 22, at 11 A.M., at the First Baptist Church of Bartow, 410 E. Church Street.
