Lakeland - James E. Bennett, age 62, passed away on April 19, 2026, at Lakeland Regional Health and Medical Center. He was born on December 20, 1963, in Naples, FL. He worked as an Artist. He enjoyed working with plants and reading books. He is survived by his mother Cora Doughtery , Father Jimmy Bennett and brother Todd Baker. Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Myers .
