Bartow - Jackie Lamar Whaley, 85, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Jackie was born January 6, 1935 in Wauchula, FL to James & Voncile Marsh Whaley. He served 21 years in the US Navy as a Torpedoman's Mate, serving in the Korea and Vietnam wars. He has been a resident of Bartow for 14 Years moving from Missouri. He was preceded in death his parents, brothers; Lawrence Whidden, James Glen Whaley, Robert Whaley, Ralph Joseph Whaley, Charles J. Whitehead and William Whitehead. He is survived by his daughter; Jacqueline Whaley (Gary Burns) of Lakeside, CA, brothers; Michael Whaley (Freida) of Bartow, Alonzo Whitehead of Brandon, Tom Whitehead of Louisville ,KY and sister; Elania Gustat of Hendersonville, TN.
