Jack C. Jenkins

Jack C. Jenkins, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Lakeland. Born November 29, 1946 in Rutherford County, NC, he was the son of the late Burwell B. and Luna (Pate) Jenkins. Jack worked as a Sales Representative in the auto industry for many years, including a few years at Bartow Ford. He was veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War and was the stenographer for General William Westmoreland. Mr. Jenkins was a longtime Bartow resident. Along with his parents Jack is preceded in death by his son Jackie B. Jenkins. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 47 years Margaret Jenkins of Bartow, his son Richie Jenkins and his wife Vicky of Fort Meade, his two grandsons: Dalton and Dexter, two sisters: Alice Garrison and Jean J. Wall both of Orlando and many extended family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 18th at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
