Mulberry- Jack Griffin, 77, of died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Palm Terrace Hospice in Lakeland. Born June 8, 1932 in Bartow, Mr. Griffin has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a truck driver in the commerical trucking industry for many years. He is survived by his wife: Betty A. Griffin of Mulberry; son: Steve Griffin of Lakeland; two daughters; Lisa Maraman of Brandon & Dee A. Sears of Lakeland; 4 sisters: Vanoy Moore of Lakeland; Gladys of Lakeland; Alice McBee of Bartow; Valerie Hastings of Winter Haven; 8 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandchild. Family will receive friends Friday, March 19, 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 20, 11:00 am at the funeral home.
