Jack Garner

Lakeland- Jack Garner, age 80, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Lakeland. Born February 1, 1941 in Bartow, he was the son of the late J.D. and Katie (Smith) Garner. Jack worked for many years in the Title Research industry. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Terrell Garner, Betty Garner Radford, and David Garner. Jack is survived by a loving family that includes his daughter, Jill Gimple of Lakeland, his siblings: Charles Garner (Myrna) of Mount Dora, Sarah Garner Steedley (Larry) of Jennings, FL, Mary Meacham (Jerry) of Dothan, AL, Patsy Ayers (Paul) of Tampa and his grandchildren: Michael, Chris, Michelle and Austin. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Iler Garner of Bartow, his great grandchildren: Shane, Alexis, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Garrett, Mackenzie, Jackson, Madalynn, Charlotte and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5th at 11:00am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow.
