Jack Elliotte

Addie V. "Jack" Elliotte, 91, died Sat, November 8, 2008, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale of respiratory failure. Born December 28, 1916 in Rutherford Co. N.C., Mr. Elliotte has been a resident of Bartow for 24 yrs, moving from Waverly, FL. Mr. Elliotte was a Field Foreman for Waverly Growers for 25 yrs and a Citrus Buyer for Campbell & Sons Citrus of Winter Haven for 18 yrs. A WW II Army Veteran, Mr. Elliotte was a member of the American Legion Post # 8, Winter Haven. He was a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church of Bartow. He is preceded in death by his son: Don Elliotte. He is survived by his wife: Fern E. Elliotte of Bartow. Three sons: David & wife Ann Elliotte of Chesterfield, VA; Ray & wife Judy Elliotte of Bartow; Charles & wife Chris Elliotte of Tyrone, Ga; daughter-in-law: Kay Elliotte of Davidson, NC; 9 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 10, 6-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Nov. 11 at 11 am at the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 205 E. Stanford St, Bartow.
