J. Clifton "Clif" Sessions

Babson Park - J. Clifton "Clif" Sessions, 86, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center of respiratory failure. Born October 10, 1926 in Jay, FL, Mr. Sessions was a resident of Babson Park for 6 yrs, moving from Bartow, He was a W.W. II U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a Chemist for Swift & Company & ConAgri Phosphate for 34 years. He was a past director, treasurer and Paul Harris Fellow of the Bartow Rotary Club and a member of the Wood Turners Association of Polk County. He was a member of the Bartow Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Mr. Sessions is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lois S. Sessions of Babson Park, son: James C. "Jim" Sessions, Jr of Lakeland; two daughters, Jane Johnston (Allen) of Tallahassee & Lisa Vitek (Christopher) of Tampa; brother , Edwin Sessions, Monroe, GA; two sisters: Audrea Smithers, Kentucky & Montrell Mykkeltvedt, Carrollton, GA; five grandchildren: Leslie Swearingen, Lindsey Johnston, Kristina Vitek, Robert Vitek & Matthew Vitek. Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 205 E. Stanford St. Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the Church. Interment with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL .
