Ivy Parker

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ivy Parker, who passed away on March 5th, 2026, at the age of 51.

Ivy was born on March 24th, 1974, in Bartow, Florida. Throughout her life, she showed incredible strength and resilience, facing life’s challenges with courage. While her journey was not always easy, she loved deeply and fiercely.

Above all else, she adored her grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and nothing brought her more happiness than being with them and watching them grow.

Ivy was free spirited, resilient, and selfless whose life gave so much love and will forever be in our hearts.

She is survived by her children, Emily Gargus, Erica Parker, and Dylan Whidden, her cherished grandchildren, Kenslei Gargus, Adelyn Gargus, Railyn Cossey, and Brandon Cossey, and many friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cheryl and Harold Owen, her siblings, Michael and Brad Owen, and her son Corey Owen.

Family will be honoring her wishes with a private service.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and, in the family, she leaves behind.
