Isidro G. Torres, Jr.

Our beloved father Isidro G. Torres Jr. passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born September 26, 1951, in Bay city, Texas. Isidro was the beloved son of the late Isidro Torres Sr. and Gaudalupe Torres. Isidro dedicated his early years to serving his country as a proud member of the United States Army from 1971-1973. He was a sharpshooter and earned The National Defense Service Medal. After serving his country Isidro Torres Jr. Became a permanent resident of Fort Meade, FL where he was a long time employee of John Stephens, Inc. Isidro was a man of many passions including baseball, golfing and fishing. He was a Jack of all trades. He was always ready to lend a helping hand or give helpful advice. More than anything, what he enjoyed the most was spending time with his family. Isidro is survived by his loving wife, Maria Irene Torres and his children Isidro Torres III (Irma), Oscar Torres (Brooke), Belinda Thomas (Preston), Richard Torres (Rosalydia), Satoria Rowe (Cory Sr.), as well as his grandchildren; Dasia "D" Torres-Stevenson (Freddie), Anfernee "Dewey" West (Evan), Tyler "Wedo" Torres, Cameron Rowe, Devin Isidro Torres, Richard "RJ" Torres, Shiori "Ari" Thomas, Aiden "Bam" Torres, Leighton "Pooh" Thomas, Ian Torres, Alexander "Peanut" Torres and great-greatgrandchildren; Laiyanna "LaiLai" Stevenson, Aliyanna "Ali" Stevenson, Xavian "Bo" West. He will be deeply missed by his siblings; Joe Torres (Alicia), Richard Torres, Pedro Torres (Andrea) and Lupita Davies (Wilson). Loved ones in heaven include siblings: Hilda Sanchez, Rene Torres and Roberto Torres, Grandchildren; Keyon Torres, Cory Rowe Jr. and Jada Rowe. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, December 20, 2024 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Funeral service 11:00 am Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
