Isidro "Izzy" Flores

Bartow- Isidro M. "Izzy /5-0" Flores, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at his home in Bartow. Born May 15, 1941 in Mirando City, TX, he was the son of the late Mariano Escobedo and Antonia (Alvarado) Flores. Izzy retired from the Bartow Police Department as a Police Sergeant, after many years of service. He also retired from Juvenile Justice of Bartow. He was a longtime member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church of Bartow. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his second wife Virlon Flores, and his daughter Katherine Randall. He is survived by a loving family wife Julie Shenberger Flores, his children: Rosey Patterson, Karen Spangler, Carmen Joiner, Vicki Rain, Anne Walker, Junior Flores, and Joey Flores. He also leaves behind his siblings: Mariana Locke, Arcelia Manillas, Zita Rangel, Joe G. Flores, Christina Flores, Candelaria Broadwater, Henry S. Flores and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, September 25th from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. A memorial service will follow on Saturday, September 26th at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, P.O.
