Iris W. West

Iris W. West, age 89, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Wedgewood Healthcare Center in Lakeland. Born January 5, 1925 in White Springs, FL, Mrs. West was a longtime resident of the Lakeland area. She was a fruit processor for Dundee Citrus Growers for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-nine years, Marion E. West. Mrs.. West is survived by two daughters: Melinda Dollar of Lakeland and Margie Richbourg of Austin, AR; one sister: Grace Shaw of Bartow; 3 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 10-11 A.M. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the graveside at Gandy Cemetery, Connersville.
