Irene Emma Stevenson

Mrs. Irene Emma Stevenson, age 79, of Fort Meade, FL, died Monday, August 18, 2008, at her Residence in Fort Meade. She was born July 10, 1929 in Garlin County, AR. She worked 30 years as a citrus sectionizer for Sun Coast Canery, Ben Hill Griffin Canery, and Procter & Gamble, and retired in 1989. Mrs. Stevenson was a faithful member of Full Gospel Fellowship Church of Fort Meade. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Robert Henry Stevenson. Five sisters; Cora Tyndall, Arleen Brown, Margaret Pat Fleming, Mary Jo Tillery, and Jeanette Witt. One Brother; Doyle Wayne Brown. She is survived by her Two Daughters; Jo Leen Harden and husband Kenny of Fort Meade and Dianna Lashley and husband Roy Lamar of Homossasa, FL. Two sisters Alma Richardson of Highmore, SD and Ruth Bell of Portland, OR. Two Brothers; Harold Gene Brown and Danny Brown both of Hotsprings, AR. Four Grandsons; Roy Lamar Lashley, Jr., Robert Dewayne Lashley, Joseph Kenneth Harden, Jr., and Timothy Michael Harden. She has 14 great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL. The Family will receive friends Thursday, August 21, 2008 from 6 to 8 pm at McLean Funeral Home.
