Irene Joppien

Mrs. Irene Elsie Bock Joppien died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Savannah Court in Bartow. She was 82. Born February 10, 1925 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She just recently moved to this area from Port Saint Lucie. Mrs. Joppien was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her son, Thomas Joppien and granddaughter, Kimberly Joppien. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ralph Joppien, a son William Joppien and his wife Patricia of Mulberry, a daughter-in-law Patricia Joppien of Savannah, GA, a sister, Dorothy Hill of Port Saint Lucie, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Joppien will be Sunday, August 5, 2007 for 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street, Bartow.
