Hyman "Benny" Carrroll

Hyman "Benny" Carroll, age 80, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019 in Bartow. Born December 16, 2019 in Uvalda, GA, he was the son of the late Hyman and Edna (White) Carroll. Mr. Carroll worked for Southeastern Construction for many years as a painter. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Joyce Carroll and his brother, Frank Carroll. Benny is survived by his children: Gloria Reddick (Scott) of Rome , GA, Virginia Carroll of Lake Wales, Glenda Carroll of Bartow, Timothy Carroll (Gayle) of Punta Gorda and Mitch Carroll of Punta Gorda. He also leaves behind his siblings: Eloise Wilson, Dorothy Boree, Fay Wisham, Kay Hinijosa all of Bartow, Sandra Edgeman (Lynn) of Plant City, Pete Carroll (Mary), Miami along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2nd from 1pm to 2pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel.
