Horace A. Pepper

Bartow- Horace A. Pepper, age 84, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 in Lakeland. Born January 25, 1934, he was the son of the late Clayton A. and Carrie (Davis) Pepper. Mr. Pepper retired from Publix after 47 years of service as a Stock man. He also attended the First Church of God of Fort Meade. Horace is preceded in death by his wife Mildred Pepper in 2016. He is survived by his daughter Nell P. Smith (Walter) of Fort Meade, his grandchildren: Marcus Smith (Victoria) and Benjamin Smith (Breanna) and his brother Harold Pepper (Sylvia) of Tampa. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 5th from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Graveside services will follow on Friday, July 6th at 10:00am at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
