Lakeland - Hershel I. Thompson, Jr. 62, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018. He was born September 3, 1955 in Blytheville, AR. Hershel has worked for Mosaic for over 40 years, he was a Supervisor. He is survived by his wife; Leronda Carol Thompson, three daughters; Laura Adams (Dan), Amy Williams (James) and Courtney Thompson. Two sons; Matthew Thompson (Lacey) and Hershel Thompson, two brothers; Jerry Thompson (Dale) and Keith Thompson, two sisters; Sandra Hutton-Thompson and Donna Callaway (Chuck), twelve grandchildren; Jasmyn, Kylie, Alisa, Tyler, Ella, Colson, Livvy, Zoe, Zachary, Clara, Kyle and Caiden. Family will receive friends Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10 to 11 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 11:00 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
