Herminio Galarza

Herminio Galarza, age 93, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Auburndale. Born September 15, 1924 in Cayey, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Rosario Rivera and Bruna Galarza. Mr. Galarza worked in the agricultural industry for many years. He is survived by a loving family that includes his children: Herminio Galarza, Jr., Judith Galarza, Herminia Ortiz, Aida Luz Galarza, Orquidea Nieves, Belinda Galarza and Sandra Galarza. He also leaves behind his granddaughter: Brenda Nieves of Bartow along with 23 additional grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 7th from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow on Thursday at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
