Herman "Shine" Lee Grimsley

Fort Meade - Herman "Shine" Lee Grimsley, age 87, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022. He was born February 4, 1935 in Wauchula, FL to Hubert & Lucille Grimsley, He graduated from Hardee High School in 1953, while in high school he was captain of all the sports team. He served in the National Guard. He was the owner and operator of service stations, a wrecker service and he was in the cattle business. He also served on the Petroleum Oil board in Atlanta, GA when he owned his Fina Bulk Plant. Shine then was a Salesman for Greenwood Chevrolet. He Family always came first. He was an avid Gator fan and he loved hunting and fishing. He attended Cornerstone Church of God in Fort Meade. Herman is survived by his wife of 41 years Louise Grimsley of Fort Meade, daughters Vicki Alvarez & husband Tony of Fort Myers and Tammy Woods & husband Chris of Fort Meade, sons Bobby Looney & wife Kelli of Frostproof, Ricky Bell & wife Lisa of Lake City and James Bell & wife Leslie of Lake Wales, grandchildren Shasta, Cody, Chase, Hannah, Karley, Dustin, Justin, Jayden, Jessica, Kristina, Jason, Cassie and many great grandchildren.
