Herbert E. Chancey

Herbert E. Chancey, age 95, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024. He was born November 28, 1928 in Enterprise, AL to Arthur & Myrtle Chancey, He was a Veteran in the US Navy during the Korean War. Herbert was the Owner/Operator of Chancey Radiator Services in Bartow. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Chancey and son Calvin "Ty" Chancey. Herbert is survived by his son Dow Chancey & wife Jackie, daughter Courtney Dennard & husband Zachary, step daughters Sandra Wolfe & husband Ralph, Patti Smith & husband Joel, Karen Lynch and Renee Lynch. Grandchildren Hank Chancey, Joshua Chancey, Ben Chancey, Daniel Chancey, Michael Gray, Bailey Barrs and numerous other grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Bartow. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Saturday, December 7, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Bartow. Burial will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
