Henry A. Tucker

Henry A. Tucker, age 89, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 in Bartow. Born December 9, 1923 in Brewster, he was the son of the late William Z. and Dolly (Roberts) Tucker. Mr. Tucker was a Dryer Systems Operator for I.M.C. Henry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife Louise Tucker and grandson Joseph Edress, siblings; Alton Tucker, Leroy Tucker, Vera Marchant and Lillie Wheeler. Mr. Tucker is survived by two daughters; Pat Jones of Bartow, Sandra Endress of Ashland, AL, Mr. Tucker also leaves behind seven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchild. Henry also leaves behind two brothers; Leon Tucker of Bartow, Ray Tucker of Fort Meade, and a sister Lorraine Willis of Ocala. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow where the family will receive friends Friday, June 28th from 6PM to 8PM. Funeral services will follow Saturday, June 29th at 10:00AM at the funeral home chapel.
