Helen B. Stokes

Helen B. Stokes 93 of Lakeland passed away Friday February 11, 2011 at her residence. Born in Wauchula, she was a lifelong resident of the area. Helen was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She was avid reader and enjoyed flower gardening, a loving mother and grandmother she will be dearly missed. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Lester Stokes and is survived by four children; LuEtta Beach of Hendersonville, NC; Lestenne Daniel of Eatonton, GA; LeByron Stokes of Lakeland and Leta Ingrassia of Lakeland; fourteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday February 15, 2011 from 2-3pm at the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church of Fort Meade with services beginning at 3pm.
