Helen J. Carroll

Mrs. Helen J. Carroll, age 67, died Sunday November 23, 2008. Born July 30, 1941 in Fort Payne, AL, Mrs. Carroll was the daughter of Willard and Mary Long. She was a homemaker and a baptist. She is survived by her husband Benny Carroll of Bartow, two sons; Tim Carroll of Punta Gorda, Bennie Mitchell Carroll of Miami, three daughters Nadine Jackson of Rome, GA, Diane Carroll of Bartow, Glenda Carroll of Bartow. She also leaves behind four sisters; Norma Cooper of Fort Payne, AL, Mary "Jo" Coleman of Rural Retreat, VA, Jewel Wise and Connie Long both of Bartow, a brother; Edward Long of Winter Haven, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Services for Mrs Carroll will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home chapel.
