Hazel Champion Keen

Hazel Champion Keen, age 87, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her home in Winter Haven, FL. She was born November 9, 1935 in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Hazel worked in the Lunchroom at Eagle Lake Elementary School for 25 years. She was Baptist and played the piano at church for over 50 years and she attended Haven Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Keen, son Michael Keen and great granddaughter Paisley Grace Workman. Hazel is survived by her two sons Terry Keen & wife Lisa of Winter Haven and Steven Keen & wife Michelle of Day, FL, grandchildren- Renee (Keen) Collins, Terry U Keen, Brian Walker, Steven Keen Jr & Amy Keen. Great grandchildren- Beau, Lyndsey, Jayden, Eli, Brently, Hannah, Maria, Christian, Nathalia, Demetrius, Zadien,Ametria, Jireh, Emma Grace. Family will receive friends Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Auburndale Memorial Park in Auburndale, FL.
