Harvey M. Grant

Harvey M. Grant, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Winter Haven. Born September 8, 1943, he was the son of the late Ollie Ervin Grant and Irene (McGar) Grant. Harvey was a burial vault fabricator for Chuck's Burial Vaults in Bartow for many years. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: infant, Millie Grant, Bertha Johnson, Jerry Grant, Everett Grant, Susie Bosch and Glenna McConnell. He is survived by a loving family that includes his children: Oneta Cowart of Winter Haven, Vince Cowart of Missouri, Don Cowart of Georgia, Bryan Cowart of Bartow, Darrell Cowart of Bartow and Tina Grant. He also leaves behind his siblings: Charles Grant (Sheila) of Missouri, George Grant (Sandy) of Oklahoma, Bill Grant (Susan) of Kansas, Joyce Stern of Kansas, Kathy Mitchell of Idaho along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 28th from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, September 29th at 11:00am at the funeral home.
