Harvey "Cleo" Culverhouse

Harvey "Cleo" Culverhouse, age 84, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Born June 8, 1931 in Geneva County, AL, Mr. Culverhouse was a resident of Bartow since 1961, moving from Alabama. He was owner of Cleo's Grocery Store and later Cleo's Feed Store Bartow for many years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member the Bartow First Assembly of God. Mr. Culverhouse is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolores Culverhouse, a son Mitchell Culverhouse [Sylvia], Cindy Norris [Royce], and Lisa Wolfe [Jim], all of Bartow, five sisters, Juanita Dorriety, Geneva, AL, Betty Williams, Dothan , AL, Annette Holland [Chester], Daleville, AL, Mary Helen Daughtry [Robert], Geneva, AL and Faye Byrd, Bartow. seven grandchildren: Matthew, Michael, Joseph, Courtney, Kyle, Jacob & Brooke and eleven great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 5:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M. at the Bartow First Assembly Church of God, 915 S. Broadway Avenue Bartow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church. Interment with military honors will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
