Harold Wagner exuded LOVE through actions and words. He died peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the age of 86. Harold was born February 21, 1936 in Oak Park, IL, to James and Ruth Eller Wagner. He raised his family with his wife of 62 years, Donna Wagner in Lombard, IL. Since 2002, Harold and Donna lived in the Floral Lakes Community in Bartow Florida. He is survived by his three children who were the center of his life; son Jeff Wagner (Rachel), Plainfield, IL; daughter Janan Szurek (Mike), Plainfield, IL; daughter Jodi Wagner (Sharon), Aurora, IL. Other people he loved and survive include his sister, Lora Hemphill (Robert), Peoria AZ; brother, James Wagner (Rick), Buckeye, AZ; two granddaughters: Kayla Wagner (Alex Wagner) and Heather McGreevy (Mike); grandson, Mitchell Harold Wagner (Erin); and five great grandchildren: Blakely and Everly Wagner, Jake and Lyla McGreevy, and Brooke Wagner. Harold faithfully attended and served in two churches, Faith United Methodist in Lombard IL and First United Methodist in Bartow, FL, by singing in the choir, being in the tech crew and spreading joy through the puppet ministry. Harold enjoyed spending time with his dear friends playing golf, poker and euchre and sharing meals together. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00 - 11;00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 310 S Broadway, Bartow, a celebration of life service will follow at 11:00 AM. at the Church.
