Harold Sills

Orlando- Harold T. "Pappy" Sills, 86, of Orlando, died Sat, Nov. 24, 2007, at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Born in Jacksonville, FL, and raised in Atlanta, GA, Mr. Sills had been a resident of Orlando for 45 years. He was employed with Martin-Marietta for over 18 yrs. He was a retired Air Force veteran and former member of the Georgia National Guard. He was a Mason and a member of Mensa. He was preceded in death by his wife: Eleanor H. Sills and his son, Terry T. Sills. He is survived by his son: John H. Sills of Clayton, N.C.; daughter: Maggie M. Macaulay of Miramar, FL; brother: Ray Sills of Miramar; 2 sisters: Frances Lindsey of Atlanta & Ellen Greene of Blue Ridge, GA; 6 grandchildren: Lyle Sills of Raleigh, N.C.; Jeremy Sills, Kari Sills & Stephanie Sills all of Orlando; Meredith Sills of Wilmington, N.C.; Madeleine Macaulay of Miramar, & 3 Great Grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sat, Dec 1, 1-2 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home.
