Harold Rowles

Eagle Lake- Harold D. Rowles, Sr., 62, of Eagle Lake, , died Wed, Oct. 24, 2007, at his residence of heart failure. A native of Columbus, OH, Mr. Rowles has been a resident of Polk County for 62 yrs. He was a Probation Officer with the State Of Florida. He was a graduate of Saint Leo College with a degree in criminal justice. He was a member of the Church of God. He Served in the Navy during Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife: Rochelle Rowles of Eagle Lake; 2 sons: Harold "Dean" Rowles, Jr. of Hurst, TX; Tom Rowles of Lakeland; brother: Hugh Rowles of Wimberley, TX ; granddaughter: Christina Rowles & grandson Harold "D.J." Rowles, III both of Hurst, TX; & grandson: Collin "George" Rowles of Lakeland. Family will receive friends Monday, Oct 29, 5-7 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St, Bartow.
