Harold E. Jackson

Harold E. Jackson, age 87, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at his residence in Sarasota of respiratory failure. Born September 3, 1925 in Madison, GA,to Stephen & Lois Starr Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a resident of Sarasota since 2010, moving from Bartow. He was a former member of the Jackson Avenue Church of Christ in Bartow, and had transfered his membership to the South Trail Church of Christ in Sarasota. He was a US Navy veteran. He was a Maintenance Engineer in the phosphate industry for many years. Mr. Jackson is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lois G. Jackson of Sarasota; daughter: Deborah Lemke of Moore, SC; two sons: Scott & wife Faye Jackson of Alachua, FL; Gary & his wife Susan Jackson of Sarasota. six grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the South Trail Church of Christ in Sarasota with lunch following at the church.
