Harold Chancey

Bartow- Charles Harold Chancey, age 87, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Born February 3, 1931 in Plant City, he was the son of the late Arthur and Myrtle (Stevens) Chancey. Mr. Chancey retired from the Florida Department of Transportation, after 42 years of service, where he worked in soil inspection. Mr. Chancey is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Chancey in 1985. He is survived by a loving family that includes his children: Carol A. Fuller (John) of Live Oak, Sandra C. McKinney (Michael) of Lakeland and Charles H. Chancey, Jr. (Janice) of Bartow. He also leaves behind his brother Herbert Chancey of Bartow, five grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 10th from 2pm to 3pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home chapel.
