Gwen Hunter

Mrs. Vonnie "Gwen" Hunter, age 64, died Monday March 28, 2011. Born January 23, 1947 in Frostproof, Mrs. Hunter was the daugther of the late Dewey Hartwell and Evelyn (Rawlings) Amerson. Mrs. Hunter was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Bartow. She is survived by her son Danny Hunter and his wife Stephannie of Bartow, her sister Bonnie Martin of Bartow, and four grandchildren; Deserai, Corey, Casey, and Brianna. Arrangments are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow where the family will receive friends Friday, April1st from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will follow Saturday April 2nd at 1:00pm at the funeral home chapel.
