Gregorio J. Madera, Jr.

Brandon - Gregorio J. Madera, Jr, age 36, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at his residence in Brandon, FL. Born Thursday, December 6, 1984 in Grand Rapids, MI, to Gregorio Madera & Loretta LaNew (Madera) Tuttle, he spent his childhood and high school years mostly in the Grand Rapids area. After high school, he honorably served 5 years in the U.S Marine Corps with 3 combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In the years after, he moved to Florida, back to Michigan, and then back to Florida, where his journey ended in Brandon, after moving from Bartow. After serving in the Marine Corps, he worked in the construction industry in many roles, including welding and flooring. More recently, he was a delivery associate for Curaleaf. His most important job of all was being loving father. He is survived by a loving family including his father: Gregorio Madera, of Bartow; two sons: Jax & Remy Madera, his daughter: Alvie Madera; a brother: Daniel Madera all of Bartow; brother: James Tuttle of Grand Rapids, MI; three sisters: Edith Madera, Davenport, FL, Samantha Tuttle, Grand Rapids, MI & Maribel Madera of Houston, TX; former companion: Ellie Dodson of Bartow.
