Glenn Wayne Lane

Mr Wayne Lane, 66, passed away, from cancer, Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 at home in Bartow. Born March 14, 1941 in Haines City, he was the son of the late Allen and Anna Merle Lane. He was a lifelong Polk County Resident. Mr. Lane was the owner and operator of Property Maintenance, a lawn service company. He was also an avid fisherman. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 39 years, Margaret J. Lane, two daughters; Dawn Franz (Richard) of Winter Haven, Deborah McClelland (Greg) also of Winter Haven, and a son, Glenn "Chip" Lane Jr. of Sanford. He also leaves behind four grandchildren; Maddie Franz, Morgan Franz, Lane McClelland, and Mac McClelland. Visitation for Mr. Lane will be Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow. Service will follow Friday, Sept. 21, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home chapel.
