Glenda S. Northington

Glenda S. Northington of Bartow passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Valencia Hills Care Center in Lakeland. Born in Kentucky she was a long time resident of the area and a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Northington; two sisters Dale Taylor and Faye Reynolds; two brothers Danny and Leroy Oakley. Glenda is survived by four daughters Teresa (Mike) Fields of Lakeland, Kathy Cotterill of Bartow, Shirley Harrell of Bartow and Cindy (Randy) Harrell of Lakeland. One brother Earl Thomas; four sisters Martha Sampson, Julia Edmonds, Karen Hopkins, Wilma Coy and Wanda Stonum. Two half brothers Gene and Edgar Smith all of Kentucky. Nine grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4th from 10-11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow with Funeral Services starting at 11am.
