Gladys B. Gibson

Gladys B. Gibson, 71, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale of cancer. Born January 29, 1941 in Holly, MI, Mrs. Gibson was a longtime resident of the area. moving from Michigan. She was a Bus Driver for the Polk County Schools and worked at Bordo Citrus of Winter Haven for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband: Earnest Gibson & son: Charles Healey. Mrs. Gibson was survived by her son: Tony E. Gibson & daughter; Tonja Gutierrez both of Bartow; three brothers: John, Tom, & Junior Pocius; 3 sisters: Sue Mann; Francis Elliott & Jeanette Mann, all of Michigan; 8 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lakeside Memorial Park, Winter Haven.
