Gertrude Moore Wells

Mrs. Gertrude Moore Wells, age 93, of Fort Meade, FL, died Monday, February 23, 2009, at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wells was born in Dunmore, Kentucky. Mrs. Wells and her late husband Carlos Wells moved to Fort Meade in 1974 from Kentucky. She worked for Kroger Grocery where she specialized in meat merchandising. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She is survived by several Nieces & Nephews. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Friday, February 27, 2009. Funeral service will be at McLean Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, February 27, 2009 , Rev. Kenny Slay officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade.
