Gerelene Carpenter

Fort Meade - Gerelene Carpenter, age 65, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at Bartow Regional Medical Center. She was born November 24, 1952 in Sevierville, TN.  Gerelene worked at Peace River Packing Company. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church of Fort Meade. She was preceded in death by her father; John Wesley Lafollette, mother; Annie Irene Lafollette (Gibson), sisters; Betty Faye Mashburn, Ola Watts and Deanna Lafollette and husband; Farris Carpenter. She is survived by her two sisters; Maggie Sammons (Gene) of Knoxville, TN and Mary Gunter (Junior) of Dandridge, TN, several nieces and nephews, boyfriend for many years Don Neely and many special friends. Family will receive friends Friday, June 29, 2018 from 10 to 11 am at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will follow Friday, June 29, 2018, at 11:00 am at McLean Funeral Home.
