Geraldine D. Stratton

Geraldine Stratton, age 81, passed away from respiratory failure Sunday, October 12, 2014 in Lakeland. Born August 16, 1933 in Saginaw, MI, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Margaret Bradford. Geraldine was a longtime area resident. She worked for many years with the Polk County School Board as a food service technician and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Bartow. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth Stratton, two daughters: Hope "Rhett" Stratton, Kim McDowell (Junior) all of Bartow, and a grandson Bradford McDowell (Lindsey) of Euless, TX. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday October 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Asbury United Methodist Church in Bartow.
